The Kolpinghaus Essen-Frohnhausen is located in the middle of the quarter Frohnhausen in the west of the city.

All around the house are various shopping possibilities situated, as well as banks, a post office and several restaurants and catering businesses are available.

The house is well connected to the public transport network and the new large shopping mall “Limbecker Platz” is easy to reach in about 10 minutes.

The Kolpinghaus has 50 beds available, which are spread out among four floors. We offer pleasant single rooms, double rooms and three bed rooms, which are equipped with lockable wardrobe, desk, chair and washing facilities. On enquiry a telephone connection is possible.
On each floor toilets and bathrooms with showers are situated as well as washing machines and driers.

Furthermore there is a TV room on each floor. DVD player and video recorder may be borrowed against a deposit.

A fully equipped kitchen including refrigerator, stove, microwave, kitchen utensils Is free for self-catering.

Moreover a computer with free internet access is available and in addition we offer state-of-the art technology such as WLAN in every room subject to a WLAN-suitable laptop.

From Monday to Friday a comprehensive breakfast is served in our dining hall as well as dinner.
